Our Father

This image is true. Fact. It happened. Knowing this carries with it many feelings- sadness, guilt, love for a Father that gave so much for your life. But knowing that this image conveys a true story also puts responsiblity on all of our shoulders. That responsiblity is this. Matthew 22:37 says, "Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." God continues to say that we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Your life needs to belong to God. Despite having so much responsibility, God has made one this sure: You will not have to face that responsibility alone. God will walk with you every step of the way. He will never leave you.

Isaiah 43: 2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
